Experts assessed the safety of tourists at every stage of the trip in the ranking of the safest airlines during the pandemic, including 200 air carriers from different countries, as reported by news agency ATOR.

Etihad (4.3) and Qatar Airways (4.2) ranked among the top three. These carriers offer a free COVID-19 insurance to their customers. Also, the top five included Singapore Airlines (4.1) and India's Vistara (4.1). The TOP-10 included Air France (4.1), Delta Air Lines (4.1), Air China (4.1), Lufthansa (4.1) and Iberia (4.1).

Experts had considered a range of criteria, including the frequency of cabin disinfection, the presence of thermal imagers, observance of the mask regime by the crew at all flight stages, the need for passengers to fill out a health questionnaire before boarding.
