More than 350 representatives of the air transport industry, including airports, air carriers and other companies participated at the 11th International Conference "Airport of the Future", which was held online. The existing online conference format succeeded in drawing the substantial international speakers and participants from more than 10 countries of the world, ATO agency reported.

The year 2020 had been a toughest year for global aviation history and the next few years will be complicated too. The conference was opened by Kurt Hofmann, an aviation expert and editor of Air Transport World, who in his speech gave an overview of global airlines and airports towards regaining the aviation market. This topic was further developed by Aboudy Nasser, Commercial Director of London Stansted Airport. Representatives of both Russian and foreign airports, airlines, management companies and consultants shared their views and business cases in further discussions and speeches.

The conference's own web-platform allowed for conducting interactive surveys. It provided speech broadcasting in two languages ​​with simultaneous translation, but also allowed participants to cooperate with speakers and other forum participants in real time. "The Airport of the Future" conference was hosted by the leading organizer of professional events in the transport industry ATO Events supported by the conference partner Hikvision, a global leader in building integrated security solutions in various industries, including transport.
