European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation
EUROCONTROL- European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation, founded in 1960 with the main objective to develop a pan-European air traffic management system in the framework of the Single European Sky. EUROCONTROL is working on a "seamless", a pan-European air traffic management system. EUROCONTROL is a public organization and currently has 40 Member States; its headquarters are located in Haren, Brussels.
The European Commission has authorized the EUROCONTROL regulyatorskie perform functions within the framework of the Single European Sky. Eurocontrol is coordinating and planning air traffic control for the whole of Europe, for which a system of functional airspace blocks in Europe (English. FABs).
