The participation in the International Tournament on a national sport “Sayatshylyk”

The International Tournament and Open Championship of Astana on the national sport “Sayatshylyk” was held from 5 to 6 of November, 2016.

The tournament was attended by more than 30 berkutchi.The sportsmen from Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan and 11 regions of Kazakhstan demonstrated their skills in hunting with eagle and training of this bird.

The two-day program of the International Tournament included such competitions as free flight and the return of the eagle into the hands of the hosts, “shyrga”, as well as the hunting.

Also there are berkutchi among the employees of “Kazaeronavigatsia” RSE: Mr. Ruslan Magzumov, Managing Director, annually takes part in the competition, in the above mentioned International Tournament he took the seventh place.

For an active participation in holding tournaments, the demonstrated skills, as well as for his contribution to the development of national sport Mr. Ruslan Magzumov was awarded with letter of appreciation from the Chairman of the Committee for Physical Culture and Sports, Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the diplomas of Physical Culture and Sports Departments of regional akimats, as well as Association of  National Sports.
