The system of search and rescue and meteorological support of flights

In accordance with the Rules on the organization of search and rescue operations in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, approved by the Government of Kazakhstan on November 4, 2011 №1296, based on the Main Center planning of air traffic the Coordinating Centre for Search and Rescue.

This center provides coordination of all the services concerned with the search and rescue activities in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Coordination Center performs the following functions: receives information about the sun, suffering or distress at the territory of Kazakhstan, gives rise to the duty team of search and rescue aircraft with an emergency situation and checking their availability.

Coordination Center also develops the initial plan, organize and coordinate the work of search and rescue crews aircraft in distress in the fighting, etc.

Coordination Council approved plans for organizing and conducting search and rescue operations, distributed basing on duty PSVS civil and state aircraft on the ground (landing sites) RK.

In accordance with the schedule approved by the Chairman of the CCA, October 15, 2014 to January 6, 2015 held coordination exercises in the areas of search and rescue in the following cities: Kostanai, Zhezkazgan, Balkhash, Karaganda, Uralsk, Aktobe, Aktau, Atyrau, Kokshetau , Pavlodar and Ust-Kamenogorsk.
Coordination exercises will be held in the RPM's. Taraz and Kyzylorda in February 2015.
To date, the airfield Astana, Almaty (Boroldai), Shymkent organized duty for search and rescue aircraft state aviation. PSVS duty established in the daytime, for visual search and rescue operations.

Contracts for the provision of search and rescue operations in 13 of the 14 areas of responsibility totaling 410,000,246 tenge (including based on the airfield Taldykorgana that will be 464,902,426 tenge).

In order to fulfill contractual obligations, carried out regular checks providers PSVS vigil.

Developed and approved plans, scenarios for connected and coordination exercises for search and rescue exercises conducted connected in 13 areas of responsibility for Search and Rescue.

According to the results of a meeting of connected exercises (analysis) summarizing the results of connected exercises of search and rescue flight operations on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the KGA and airlines.

It is planned to train specialists of search and rescue and meteorological support operations, ATS training centers for search and rescue and implementation of software search and rescue aircraft about the coordinates in KTSPS.

In his work Kazakhstan center interacts with the focal points of the border and accepts emergency messages via the International Satellite System (COSPAS-SARSAT).
