Construction Department

The main tasks of the Construction Department are the organization of design work, construction, major repairs of buildings and structures, reconstruction of facilities (according to approved plans and design estimates).

Main functions of the Department:

Preparation of technical specifications for design work, construction and installation work, major and current repairs, reconstruction of facilities, marking of buildings and structures, for public procurement procedures;

Participation in the preparation of projects and coordination of contracts with design organizations and general contractors for the performance of design, survey services, construction and installation works, major and current repairs, reconstruction of facilities, marking of buildings and structures, as well as for the purchase of goods, works, services, control over execution of concluded contracts;

Organizing and ensuring timely receipt of design estimates, sending notifications and obtaining permits for construction, major repairs of buildings and structures;

Monitoring the implementation of construction and installation works and major repairs.

Development of measures for the timely commissioning of construction projects, organization and ensuring their implementation;

Monitoring the costs of construction and repair of buildings and facilities in accordance with the approved contract amount;

Participation in review committees for commissioning of newly constructed buildings and facilities in accordance with the requirements of current regulations and rules;

In recent years, in order to ensure safe and high-quality air navigation services for air traffic in accordance with international standards and to promote the development of the civil aviation industry, large investment projects for the development of ground infrastructure have been successfully implemented.

New modern buildings with a control tower were put into operation, built in accordance with international standards and equipped with up-to-date means of radio technical support for flights and communications, such as the Technical building with an air traffic control tower in Turkestan (2021), the Administrative and technical building with a control tower in Ust-Kamenogorsk (2022) and the Production and Technical Center in Astana (2022). In addition, positions for meteorological and aeronautical equipment are built on an annual basis, and work is also carried out to modernize and reconstruct existing facilities of the enterprise's branches.

Currently, the construction department is actively involved in organizing and monitoring the construction of the Technical building with a control tower in Semey, the Administrative and technical building with a control tower in Taraz and Taldykorgan.
